It’s 8 AM PST as of now and Today I sold 3 x 6940/6935 puts using delta as a support area at 6:45 AM. Sold 2 for $0.80 and 1 for $0.70. I don’t think we go down that much or at least we end near MVC by New York Lunch (9 AM PST). Hopefully I can close my positions by then at $0.10 or $0.20.
Update: It’s 9:22 AM premium is at $0.20 so this should close in the next 30-60 minutes unless market goes down for some reason. We also have press secretary speaking in 30 minutes. Hoping to get out of the position by then.
UPDATE: Decided to close everything at $0.30 as deltas started to flip a bit during the next 30 minute. From now on I’m going to start closing positions a lot earlier once I hit the 0.50 profit. I could have closed at $0.15 but I had gotten greedy and then was in the trade for too long and it started to pull back. Honestly I don’t think my positions were in danger however I didn’t want to risk my profit. I Should have closed everything by then when it climbed back to $0.20.
